🚗 Route via Nairobi-Nakuru Highway (A104)

  • 1 From Nairobi CBD, take Uhuru Highway towards Westlands
  • 2 Join Waiyaki Way and continue to the Nairobi-Nakuru Highway (A104)
  • 3 Drive for approximately 75 km through Limuru, Uplands, and Mai Mahiu
  • 4 At the Naivasha junction, turn right towards Naivasha town
  • 5 Drive through Naivasha town, then head south on Moi South Lake Road
  • 6 Continue for 12 km along the lake shore
  • 7 Turn right at Sawela Lodge signage and follow access road to the entrance
⚠️ Travel Tip: Leave early to avoid Nairobi traffic (best to depart by 8 AM). Fuel stations available at Limuru, Mai Mahiu, and Naivasha.

🚗 Route via Nairobi-Nakuru Highway (A104)

  • 1 From Nakuru town, take the Nairobi-Nakuru Highway (A104) heading towards Nairobi
  • 2 Drive for approximately 65 km (about 50 minutes)
  • 3 At the Naivasha turn-off, exit towards Naivasha town
  • 4 Drive through Naivasha town and continue south on Moi South Lake Road
  • 5 Follow for 12 km along the lake
  • 6 Turn right at Sawela Lodge signage and follow access road to entrance
